The Assistant Buyer will be responsible for supporting the buyers with administrative and merchandising duties including data entry into the department merchandising spreadsheets, creating creative files, obtaining contracts and vendor information for all new products being submitted to the catalog. This role will also handle samples for all the buyers and the Creative Team. This person will also work to negotiate vendors and AP to resolve any credit related discrepancies. They will assist with managing the assortment buying worksheet to help plan future catalog assortments. They will also assist with managing categories of merchandise from conception to presentation to turnover with responsibilities for margins, coop, and sales.
