Marketing Associate

The Bradford Group is looking for an entry-level Marketing Associate to join their Collectibles Team. This position operates in a fast-paced marketing environment working with both print and digital media channels to profitably sell new and existing products. Primary responsibilities include preparing and executing direct mail campaigns that will continue to successfully grow the business. Duties include researching and analyzing past marketing results for existing marketing segments, searching for new marketing universes, as well as assisting in all stages of designing and executing the marketing plans.

The Marketing Associate will also collaborate with Product Development and Advertising to bring new product introductions to market. They will manage products throughout the entirety of the product lifecycle – from conception to shipment. They will take ownership of assigned products and product-forms across a variety of different affinities and featuring products licensed through some of the most recognizable brands around the world. This position will require successful partnerships with a variety of cross-functional teams, so ability to work in a collaborative environment is a must. The Marketing Associate will also generate reports to showcase marketing and product results which will be shared with varying members of the organization.  The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be highly proficient in Excel, and highly analytical.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Direct mail campaign management– this includes researching and planning product tests, new product launches and reoccurring promotions, as well as forecasting future demand for inventory ordering and budgeting.  Includes managing the execution and analysis of various direct mail creative package tests to increase response at efficient selling expense. Proofing advertising creative and working with product development, internal advertising team, and marketing services.
  • Fully manages advertising promotions executed on product shipments to optimize customer life time value and efficiently sell top products.
  • Report management – update and issue monthly sales reports and pivot tables
  • Misc. Marketing and Operational systems and reporting

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Finance or related field;
  • 0-2 years experience in catalog/direct/database marketing and execution to include internships.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong analytical ability and inquisitive nature
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to prioritize workload and make adjustments as necessary
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Entrepreneurial personality
